Two NATO troops were killed in what may be the latest incident involving an Afghan serviceman—or insurgent masquerading as one—shooting NATO soldiers. An Afghan official has confirmed that the troops were both American. The international peacekeepers were serving in southern Afghanistan Thursday when two other men, one of whom may have been an Afghan soldier, opened fire on them. In the past two weeks, NATO has lost six soldiers in similar incidents involving persons in the uniforms of the Afghan military or police force.
