About 200 military troops are being called in to help quell active wildfires in the western United States. Fires near Chelan, Washington have devastated over 150 square miles, destroyed 50 homes, and forced 1,500 people to flee. Homes were also lost in Northern Idaho and a separate fire lit by lightning is continuing to rage in Oregon’s Malheur National Forest.
