20,000 Sign Petition to Have Guns at RNC

Nearly 20,000 people have signed a petition calling for the open carry of guns at the Republican National Convention, which is slated to take place in Cleveland in July. According to the Akron Beacon-Journal, the group Americans For Responsible Open Carry started the petition on Change.org on Monday with a goal of 5,000 signatures.
