29 Killed in Bolivian Prison

Clashes between rival gangs erupted into violence which killed at least 29 and injured 50 in a Bolivian prison on Friday. One of those killed was a child living in the 5,000-strong, maximum-security Palmasola prison with his parents. The incident reportedly began with a group of prisoners broke into another area and set off a fire by blowing up propate gas tanks. In Bolivia, hundreds of children live with their incarcerated parents because they have nowhere else to go.
