Three men have been charged in connection with the death of Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay’s daughter. Trinity Gay, 15, was reportedly hit in the neck by a stray bullet during a shootout between two cars in the parking lot of a restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky. The men—Dvonta Middlebrooks, Chazerae M. Taylor, and D’markeo C. Taylor—were charged with wanton endangerment. Gay, who was described as an innocent bystander in the shooting, died about 4:41 a.m. Sunday at a nearby hospital. “She was a beautiful person, very outgoing, athletic, always wanting to accomplish something,” said the girl’s grandmother, Debra Conley. “She was just a normal teenage child who had lots of aspirations for the future.”
