According to local media reports, a dispute between food stall owners on Friday morning in Changsha, China led to a stabbing rampage which left five people dead. The killings come just weeks after another stabbing incident that left 29 people dead and 130 injured which authorities claimed was a terrorist attack by separatist forces from the predominantly Muslim Uighur region. The dispute Friday was reportedly between assailants who owned a local naan bread shop and several residents. Photos posted on Weibo, a social media site, show multiple bodies in the street covered in blood. One of the dead is reported to be an elderly man while another man was stabbed repeatedly while bleeding on the ground. The Uighurs, who oppose regulations on their religion and culture, are often a target for crackdowns by the Chinese government.
