In news we sort of already knew, former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich is finally admitting to blood doping with the help of Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes. A major rival of disgraced doper Lance Armstrong, Ullrich had previously denied rumors of his involvement in the cheating scandal, even after he was kicked off his team in 2006. In his confession to a German magazine, he excused his transgressions and said that it was cool because hey, everyone else was doing it. "I haven’t taken anything that wasn’t taken by others," he said. "For me, a scam is when I get an advantage first. But this was not so. I wanted to ensure an equal opportunity."
