“Cannot say” he’ll walk away from peace talks.

Is the Palestinian leadership backing off its demand that Israel extend a moratorium on settlement construction in the West Bank? Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told American Jewish leaders on Tuesday that it would be “very difficult” to continue talks if construction resumes, but refused to say it’d be a deal breaker: He said he “cannot say” that he would definitely walk away.
