Paula Abdul is not hosting Star Search, but she may be on to the next thing: The former American Idol judge is developing a dance-themed show for NBC with This Is It director Kenny Ortega, The Wrap reported Tuesday. The show will include “highly choreographed” performances and—unlike other dance shows—may even be staged in “public spaces.” One source told The Wrap: “This is enormous dance performance, far beyond what you’d expect to be able to do on television.”
