Women Sue Lingerie Company For False Anti-Cellulite Claims: Two New York women—Christine Caramore and Michelle Martin—are reportedly suing lingerie brand Maidenform in Brooklyn Federal Court over “false advertising” for its anti-cellulite shapewear “Instant Slimmer.” The shapewear, which claimed it had the ability to tone the body and slow down the appearance of cellulite, did not work... at all. Although the caffeine in the material’s microfibers creates a slimming illusion, as soon as the pants are removed, the cellulite still exists. [NY Daily News]
