Actress Jane Russell Dies

Hollywood legend Jane Russell has died at age 89. The star of Howard Hughes’ 1943 The Outlaw broke barriers with her provocative role in the film—and went on to become a popular pin-up girl during World War II. Russell also starred with Marilyn Monroe in the musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in 1953, and became known to many as a spokeswoman for Playtex bras and “full-figured women.”
