Hollywood legend Jane Russell has died at age 89. The star of Howard Hughes’ 1943 The Outlaw broke barriers with her provocative role in the film—and went on to become a popular pin-up girl during World War II. Russell also starred with Marilyn Monroe in the musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in 1953, and became known to many as a spokeswoman for Playtex bras and “full-figured women.”
