Afghanistan Plots Internet Crackdown

Afganistan's Internet is about to become way less fun. The government is introducing new rules banning users from sites that conflict with the country's Islamic culture, namely, sites promoting porn, booze, and gambling, the Financial Times reports. The communications ministry is working with Internet service providers to start filtering out such content and will begin enforcing the ban next month.
