Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Pitts, who fought his way out of an assault from hundreds of Taliban soldiers while badly injured, was awarded the Medal of Honor on Monday at the White House. Pitts' commanding officers say he saved lives of his fellow soldiers and was instrumental in repelling the attackers. He's the ninth living recipient of medal who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. "It belongs to every man there that day, and I’ll accept it on behalf of the team. It’s not mine," he said.
