AG: Accepting FBI's Recommendation, Not Charging Hillary

Attorney General Loretta Lynch made it official on Wednesday: she is accepting the FBI’s recommendation not to charge Hillary Clinton over her exclusive use of a private email server while she served as secretary of state. In a statement, Lynch said she met with FBI Director James Comey and the agents who conducted the investigation. Comey announced on Tuesday that while Clinton was “extremely careless,” there is not enough evidence to charge her or her aides with a crime. With that, Lynch said, the investigation was officially closed.
