Ailes: I’m Not Going Anywhere

Rumors of Fox News President Roger Ailes’ demise may have been exaggerated: “News Corp. is 100 percent behind Roger Ailes,” said News Corp. President Chase Carey. There was speculation that Ailes might be on the outs after Rupert Murdoch’s son-in-law, Matthew Freud, said he was “ashamed and sickened by Roger Ailes’ horrendous and sustained disregard of the journalistic standards.” Ailes says that rumors that “I’m a dead man” are “being manufactured.” He adds that Freud, who is a descendant of Sigmund Freud, “needs to see a psychiatrist.”
