AlabamaGov. Robert Bentley signed on Thursday what’s being described byboth supporters and critics as the toughest immigration law in thecountry. Its harsh provisions surpass even Arizona’s controversialbill, barring illegal immigrants from going to college, applying forwork, or renting property. The American Civil Liberties Union said it will sue tooverturn the new law, which it called “draconian.”
