Sarah Palin may want to ride that bus to a dark and quiet place: The state of Alaska will soon release 24,000 pages of Sarah Palin’s emails from when she was governor, according to the Anchorage Daily News. They’ll be sent to people and news agencies, including the Associated Press, MSNBC, and The New York Times, which requested them. Some of the emails will be at least partially blacked out at state lawyers’ recommendations; also, 2,415 pages were deemed privileged, personal, or otherwise exempt. Each media organization will receive five boxes of emails, weighing 55 pounds apiece. They’ll have to pay for hundreds of dollars in shipping, in addition to $725.97 in copying fees.
