Alcohol Killed 3.3 Million in 2012

Is your martini served up with cancer? According to the World Heath Organization, more than 3 million people died from using alcohol in 2012—with the causes of death ranging from chronic disease to violence. The report found that every drinking person (around 38 percent of the world) consumes 17 liters of pure alcohol annually, and are at risk of developing more than 200 diseases. WHO is pushing for government action against drinking and its consequences.
