Alicia Machado, the former Miss Universe whom Donald Trump has repeatedly attacked this week, fired back at the Republican presidential nominee on Friday morning in an Instagram post, calling his campaign one based in “hate.” Machado wrote that Trump’s penchant for insulting women is “something that is definitely one of his more frightening characteristics.” In a tweetstorm early Friday morning, Trump attacked Machado further by insinuating she was part of a sex tape that doesn’t actually exist, urging voters to “check out” the tape. Clinton called the comments “unhinged, even for Donald Trump.”
