Allison Williams Cast in ‘Peter Pan’

Allison Williams, one of the co-stars of Girls and the daughter of NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, has been cast as Peter Pan in NBC’s upcoming musical, Peter Pan Live. Christopher Walken has already signed on for the Dec. 4 show as Captain Hook. “I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about 3 years old, so this is a dream come true,” said Williams in a statement. “And besides, what could go wrong in a live televised production with simultaneous flying, sword fighting, and singing?” The show will be based on the original 1954 Broadway musical and is a followup to the 2013 telecast of The Sound of Music Live with Carrie Underwood.
