Daughter of actress Mariel and great-granddaughter of Ernest, Dree Hemingway made measurable waves at Fall ‘09 Fashion Week. Not only did the model—who also acts—get an exclusive at Givenchy’s catwalk, she starred in the short film that took the place of Halston’s collection presentation. Expect to see more of Dree; given the fact that she’s already landed such big names shows right of the bat of getting into the fashion game, the 5’9” blond is most likely just getting her feet wet.

Daughter of rocker Gavin Rossdale and former model Pearl Lowe, Daisy Lowe is far from a newbie on the modeling scene. She may have started perfecting her pose at age 2, but it wasn’t until this spring that the fashion industry couldn’t get enough of the doe-eyed brunette. She has starred in campaigns for Dr. Martens, DKNY and Marc Jacobs. And at Fall ‘09 Fashion Week, she walked for everyone from Chanel and Vivienne Westwood to Topshop.

Theodora and her younger sister by two years, Alexandra, have both become fixtures on the fashion scene. Daughters of model Patti Hansen and Keith Richards, the Richards sisters epitomize exactly the kind of rocker-chic allure that one might expect from their last name. Alexandra has appeared in dozens of fashion magazines; she recently posed alongside musician Ben Taylor, son of James Taylor and Carly Simon, in an ad for Lucky Brand. Theodora, on the other hand, doubles as model and VP of creative direction for denim brand 4 Stroke; she also stars in designer Erin Kleinberg’s new flesh-filled Fall 09 look book.

Georgia May Jagger is the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall. Enough said. The 17-year-old has been gifted both Jagger’s iconic pout and Hall’s mile-high cheekbones and blond mane—a killer combination that helped her land a Dazed & Confused cover appearance at age 16. Like fellow Rolling Stones offspring, Theodora and Alexandra Richards, Jagger’s off-the-catwalk rock ‘n’ roll style has also garnered a fair bit of attention.

Seemingly everywhere this season was Nick Cave’s son Jethro, whose androgynous features make him a dead ringer for his rocker father. (The fact that his mother, Beau Lazenby, was a model, and his grandfather is former James Bond, George Lazenby, doesn’t hurt either.) The 18-year-old Australian model surfaced on a number of high-profile SS09 runways last fall in Milan (including Balenciaga). He then walked in Paris and London for FW09 for the likes of Gareth Pugh and House of Holland, respectively, and starred in ads for Topshop’s Topman. He has also caught the eye of former Dior Homme designer-turned-photographer Hedi Slimane, who has snapped the rock offspring on a number of occasions.

Peaches and Pixie Geldof—daughters of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, and granddaughters of British TV personality Hughie Green—have become increasingly frequent fixtures in the London and New York fashion scenes over the past few years. Williamsburg-based Peaches has posed for fashion magazines as well as published in them as a columnist for Nylon. And, after making her runway debut for Brit brand PPQ in September 2007, Peaches inked a deal to design a capsule collection for the retailer, which hit store racks last fall. Peaches also starred in a recent Agent Provocateur campaign alongside fellow model daughter Daisy Lowe. AP’s subsequent ad campaign featured Peaches’ sis, Pixie, who was Italian Vogue’s covergirl in March but missed out on runway shows this season due to school exams.

Daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith and granddaughter of Hitchcock favorite Tippi Hedren, 19-year-old Dakota Johnson is well on her way to becoming a major model with mainstream appeal. Last fall, Elle UK proclaimed Johnson to be “fashion’s new ‘It’ girl,” when she landed an ad campaign for Hogan. Since then, the all-American blond has become the face of international retailer Mango’s denim line, as well as graced the pages of Vogue.

Cousins and great-granddaughters of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, Amanda Hearst and Lydia Hearst-Shaw have posed for several magazines and fashion ads in their already full respective modeling careers. Lydia, daughter of Patty Hearst and Bernard Shaw, has been the face for Puma, lingerie brand Myla and Longchamp; she also graced the cover of French Playboy last fall. Amanda, on the other hand, has landed spreads in Vogue as well as work with Ralph Lauren.

Daughter of Foreigner’s Mick Jones and Ann Dexter-Jones, Annabelle Dexter-Jones has benefited from her celebrity lineage in more ways than one. Not only did she inherit great looks from parents, the 21-year-old aspiring actress’ half-sister, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, cast Dexter-Jones in her first catwalk appearance and video look book.
