After kick starting an award winning TV show (Transparent), Amazon Studios is looking to move into feature films, the online retailer announced on Monday. The “original movies” will first debut in theaters before making a relatively rapid release on their streaming service, cutting the time from 39-52 weeks to only 4-8 weeks.
