Donald Ray Morgan, 44, of North Carolina was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison on Wednesday for attempting to give material support to ISIS. Morgan, who pled guilty in October 2014, will also face three years of supervised release after completing his prison term. Prosecutors allege he also tried to travel from Lebanon to Syria to join and fight for the terrorist organization.
