This is a new twist on leaked celebrity tapes. On Monday, the FBI released videotapes, documents, and photos taken during surveillance of Anna Chapman and 10 other Russian spies. The Associated Press filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain the material. The operation was code-named Ghost Stories. The 11 spies shop, sightsee, and hang around in New York City. Chapman, who is now a celebrity in Russia, and the other spies lived suburban lives, but were “getting very close to penetrating U.S. policymaking circles," according to the FBI.
