Another U.S. Doctor Killed African Lion

May have been illegal.

Zimbabwean officials are looking into reports that another U.S. doctor illegally killed a protected lion with a bow and arrow. Headman Sibanda, who guided the hunt that killed Cecil the lion, also hosted Jan C. Seski of Pennsylvania in April. Some reports allege that Sibanda admitted that the hunt was illegal but Zimbabwe’s national Parks and Wildlife Management Authority has yet to announce any violations for the spring incident. Various websites, including Texasbowhunters.com, display pictures of Seski proclaiming his dominance in the field, but attempts to reach the gynecological oncologist have been unsuccessful.
