AP History Not Cutting Slavery Mentions

OOPS

Only one fewer mention.

On Wednesday, Newsweek reported that the newly redesigned framework for the Advanced Placement course in U.S. History for high school students would see a lot less mentions of the word “slavery.” On Thursday, Newsweek corrected their article stating that "there are roughly the same mentions" of slavery in both documents. A tweet by Newswork correcting the story indicated that "there are 62 references in this year's document to 63 in last year's" to the word "slavery." There still will be a new section devoted to "American exceptionism."
