Apple Wants to Make Self-Driving Cars

An auto industry source who spoke to Reuters says that Apple has been in talks with carmakers and automotive suppliers about how to make a self-driving electric car. The source added that Apple does not appear to be interested in in traditional manufacturing methods or combustion engines; instead, they have gathered advice only on parts and production methods. An Apple spokesman, meanwhile, declined comment to Reuters on “rumors or speculation.”
