Apple’s war with Google is escalating, as the Cupertino company announced Monday that it will remove its standard YouTube app from the iPhone and iPad. A pre-packaged app for the popular video streaming service won’t be included in Apple’s new mobile operating system, iOS 6. The company said the license to include the app in iOS is ending, so the app is being pulled it from its devices. Users will still be able to use YouTube on their browsers, and Google is reportedly working on its own standalone app for the app store.
