As the violence in Syria continue to spin out of control, the Arab League is meeting Sunday to consider sending monitors back into the devastated country. But a new proposal could expand the mission to include observers from the United Nations and non-Arab Muslim nations, officials said. A “Syria group” will meet in Cairo and then make recommendations to foreign ministers later Sunday.
