Cyclist Lance Armstrong drove his SUV into two parked cars in December, then let his girlfriend take the blame for it, according to an Aspen police report. Armstrong’s girlfriend, Anna Hansen, told a homeowner that she was the one driving the car, apparently to keep Armstrong away from another round of bad press. Armstrong was issued two traffic citations for the incident after Hansen admitted she lied to police.
