Whilst the world’s media fawns over Prince Harry’s every move in the Caribbean, spare a thought for poor Prince Edward and his wife Sophie who have been engaged in their own, little-watched spot of globe-trotting on the Queen’s behalf.
The royal couple have visited Barbados, St Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, St Kitts and Montserrat on their own, less popular Caribbean tour. They are currently in Antigua & Barbuda, the last country the couple will visit before returning to the United Kingdom.
Edward—Prince Charles’s youngest brother—is reputedly the most pompous of all the royals, and is likely to be unamused at being sent off round the world while his young buck of a nephew gets all the attention.
