Judd Apatow took on Bill Cosby during a standup set on The Tonight Show Tuesday night, imagining how Cosby might use the accusations of rape as fodder for his stand-up act. “Did you ever get into the doghouse with the wife over something that you did?” Apatow asked, impersonating Cosby’s voice. “My wife, she said to me, what is this in the paper about the raping and the drugging and the women?”
While Apatow turned Cosby into a joke on The Tonight Show, Apatow has been quite serious in his criticism of Cosby on Twitter and in interviews, telling the Huffington Post in January that “I absolutely would like to see him in jail. That’s where people who commit sexual assaults go.”
