Has Julian Assange gone too far? Australia's attorney general says WikiLeaks revealed the name of at least one intelligence official, a criminal offense in Australia, when it published the full cache of U.S. diplomatic cables this week without any redactions. "I am aware of at least one cable in which an ASIO [Australian Security Intelligence Organization] officer is purported to have been identified," said the attorney general. "ASIO and other Government agencies officers are working through the material to see the extent of the impact on Australian interests.” Assange's decision to publish the unedited cables was condemned by all five of WikiLeaks' original media partners.
