The Houston Astros beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 13-12 on Sunday night in a record-long Game 5 of the World Series. The marathon game—five hours and 17 minutes—gave the Astros a 3-2 series lead before the two teams face-off in Los Angeles on Monday. The Astros fell behind repeatedly in the early innings before exploding in the seventh to take the lead. Astros third baseman Alex Bregman drove home the game-winning RBI single. “It’s a big deal,” Bregman said of the team’s win. “It’s huge for the city of Houston. We dedicated this season to them, so this is big for our city, big for our team.”
