Medical marijuana is set to be legalized in Australia by November but the substance will remain strictly controlled. Only those prescribed the drug will be allowed to take it in adherence with the decision by the Therapeutic Goods Administration. The drug can also be used to help treat inflammatory bowel disease, migraines, and those with HIV, used as a means of getting their appetite going.
