TOO SOON?
As a comedian coming up in an age of intense polarization on social media, the attempted assassination of former President Trump pushes me to consider the limits of comedy.
Matt Friend is a comedian and impressionist who has voiced multiple characters for The Simpsons and Family Guy. He performed at the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, headlined the Netflix Is A Joke Festival during his nationwide stand-up comedy tour and is launching a podcast on Bill Maher’s Club Random Network called “Friend In High Places.”
