Patrick Oster, an award winning journalist who covered the White House, the State Department, the CIA, and the Supreme Court before becoming a foreign correspondent, is the author of four novels: The Commuter, The German Club, The Hacker Chronicles and The Amazon Detective Agency, all of which drew plot elements from his experiences as a reporter.
