Snir Klein served in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade from 2012 to 2016, initially as a combat soldier and subsequently training squad commanders. During his military service he fought in Gaza in Operation “Protective Edge” in 2014. In 2018, Snir provided testimony to Israeli NGO Breaking the Silence about his personal experience as a soldier in the occupied Palestinian territories. Snir completed a B.A in philosophy and an LLB at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Today he is a human rights lawyer, a writer for "Liberal", an Israeli magazine, and a graduate student of history and philosophy of science and ideas at Tel Aviv University.
