During his time at Ohio State, Stephen worked with OSU's Drug Enforcement and Policy Center, where he supported interdisciplinary, evidence-based research, education, and community outreach around cannabis reforms, and he served as President of the Council of Graduate Students, where he advocated for LGBTQ+ students, worker's rights, and greater police accountability.
