Bachmann's Team Denies Resignations

Michele Bachmann's campaign scrambled late Friday to deny rumors that five members of her New Hampshire team had quit. Campaign manager Keith Nahigian said the rumors are "crazy," and that he had "just talked to two of them and they don't know what's going on." Bachmann herself called Radio Iowa Friday night and said the media invented story. "I have no idea where that came from," she said. A local television station said the team left because they said they felt "constantly betrayed and even lied to." Another report late Friday surfaced that Bachmann had not paid staffers for a month.
