Police on Florida’s Space Coast are seeking a man who attacked a mosque with a machete and left bacon at its entrance. Windows at the Islamic Society of Central Florida Masjid Al-Munin mosque in Titusville were smashed Jan. 1, in the latest in a string of vandalism incidents against Muslims across the country. Officials said surveillance footage shows a man entering the mosque’s carport late at night and smashing cameras, lights, and windows. Police say that bacon—which Islamic religious dictates forbid followers from eating—was left by the front door. The man in the video has not been identified.
