Looks like the Barefoot Bandit won’t be able to afford shoes any time soon. Colton Harris-Moore, Seattle’s so-called Barefoot Bandit, pleaded guilty Friday to seven federal charges relating to the theft of planes, boats, cars, and frozen dinners in three states and six counties. Harris-Moore also agreed that any proceeds or movies documenting his adventures as a thief and the time he spent running from the law will pay the $1.5 million in restitution to victims from his teenage crime spree. The 20-year-old has been accused of some 100 burglaries and was arrested in the Bahamas—after he crashed a plane he had stolen. Under his plea deal, he faces as much as 6½ years in prison, but additional charges may come from four other Washington counties.
