Guido Barilla doesn't hate homosexuals per se, he just doesn't care if they eat his pasta and has no intention of catering his advertising to attract them. He also doesn't care if that offends anyone. In an interview with Italian radio Wednesday, the pasta chairman said he would never use a gay family in a Barilla ad. "For us the concept of sacred family remains one of the basic values of the company." He also said he's not concerned about backlash from the gay community. "Well, if they like our pasta and our message they will eat it; if they don't like it and they don't like what we say they will ... eat another." Italian gay rights activists have already launched a boycott.
