Barry Bonds Fired After One Season

Barry Bonds has been fired after just one season as the hitting coach for the Miami Marlins. He is Major League Baseball’s career leader in all-time home runs, but has not been admitted to its Hall of Fame due to suspicions about his performance-enhancing drug use. The Marlins ended the season ranked fourth in the league in batting average, but that unfortunately didn’t translate into runs. They ranked only 27th in that category.
