He is Major League Baseball’s career leader in all-time home runs, but has not been admitted to its Hall of Fame due to suspicions about his performance-enhancing drug use. The Marlins ended the season ranked fourth in the league in batting average, but that unfortunately didn’t translate into runs. They ranked only 27th in that category.
