Well, at least we all know Sen. Max Baucus isn’t a liar. During the senate confirmation hearings for the Chinese ambassadorship, Baucus responded to a question about his level of experience by saying “I’m no real expert on China.” Despite his apparent lack of knowledge, Baucus is optimistic about the country. “It’s my strong belief that Chinese people are just as proud as we Americans.” Good luck, Sen.
