Beckham: Name Royal Baby After Me

Time to start placing some bets on David Beckham—for the name of the royal baby, that is. The retired British soccer star—who attended Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 wedding as a friend of the couple—told Sky News that “David’s not bad” for the new royal baby’s name. “I think they should go for David.” Not really advice he followed himself, since his own children have the less-than-conventional names of Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. On a more serious note, Beckham said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be “amazing parents” because “they’re so loving toward children.”
