Social-media users are offering support to people stranded after the terrorist attacks in Brussels that killed 34 and injured another 170. The hashtag #ikwilhelpen—or “I want to help”—was trending in Belgium on Tuesday morning. Many are offering rides or a place to stay, since the attacks occurred at the airport and a metro station. Much like #PorteOuverte, or #OpenHouse, which were used at the November attacks in Paris, #ikwilhelpen is being used by those who wish to provide shelter. All three of the hashtags were trending Tuesday.
