Beyoncé’s love affair with the Obamas continues. The singer, who performed “At Last” for the first couple at the inauguration in January 2009, stars in the president’s latest campaign ad, reading a letter she wrote in April praising First Lady Michelle Obama as “the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.” She goes on to say how grateful she is for everything Michelle has done for the country and for women: “She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the first lady. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving, and sensitive.” The first lady responded on Twitter, thanking Beyoncé “for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.”
