Sharon Bialek, the latest woman who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment, spent Tuesday morning in a blitz tour of talk shows, defending her decision to come forward. “I’m just doing this because it’s the right thing to do,” Bialek said in one interview. Bialek appeared on CNN, ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS’s The Early Show, and NBC’s Today show, saying she waited years to come forward because she was “embarrassed” by the incident and wanted to move on. In a press conference accompanied by star lawyer Gloria Allred on Monday, Bialek said she had been propositioned by the Republican presidential hopeful in the 1990s before she was fired from her job at Godfather’s Pizza in 1997. Meanwhile, Cain himself will address the accusations in a press conference Tuesday, after calling the allegations “totally fabricated” in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night.
